RECOVER_REDISCOVER
Music is a very personal experience, our listening habits can change over time, artists evolve which can make us feel, disappointed with new material if we were so in love with past albums. Music transcends people, religion and boarders. We come together, no mater our political opinions or personal ethics. Music is glue that can make the human experience.
For a long time i have listened to music without actually 'listening' to music. It has always been there in the background with very little thought. It has been close to a decade since I have last gone to see a band or artist live. Regrettably I made the mistake, again roughly ten years ago of selling all my albums and entire music collection for pence on the pound. Hundreds of albums gone, with only a handful that remained, forgotten about in the loft while we utilised streaming services for convenience. That however is now changing, we decided to again buy a CD player, nothing fancy but capable of putting out reasonable quality sound for us to enjoy and with that came a new hobby of once again searching for, hunting down and acquiring CD's in order to build a new a fresh analogue collection. While my wife is now into K-Pop and myself always a metal head, we do have some overlap when it comes to certain bands, with my wife introducing me to new music that I would otherwise have dismissed and visa versa. Upon this page I am going to be giving newly acquired albums, mini reviews with a scoring system I have yet to come up with, most probably an out of 10 score which will take into consideration everything from album art, to which tracks I liked or disliked upon the album. Again this is all very personal but maybe you will discover something new, and hopefully I will be able to integrate a comment section or something similar so what we may have discussions and you too can send me recommendations for new music. All the best and keep on Rocking \m/ \m/
