MOURNINGTIDE GAZETTE Issue I [14/05/2026]

The Mourningtide Gazette (Issue I) will always hold a special place in my heart, not only was this the first digital zine I had ever created but to me this zine is something far more special and the reason for that is because it is linked to the first novel I have written and then got professionally printed. Mind you, this novel is not for sale and to feed my ego, this novel is "The greatest novel, never sold" only because, and I will probably get into this in a full YouTube video but it a piece of work I am truly proud of.

So what exactly is the Mourningtide Gazette? Simply put it is an in-universe artifact within my novel the Architect's Cage. Every week or so these actual zines are delivered by arcane means to hunters and service establishments around the world, informing those who deal with the supernatural and paranormal about what is happening.

Typically these zines focus on regional events, so in the novel as it is set in the UK, the zine covers supernatural and paranormal events that are happening within the UK.

Not only this but the zine also comes with lore, which expands the universe of the book. One such entry within Issue I is the Gates of Armantar and there are also recipes and other articles, which in this issue, is faeries.

It took weeks to complete but was worth each and every hour spent doing so.
